Expensive Rubber Slipper
When I saw this blog entry I can't help but post it, I totally agree with the blog writer and it was written very creatively.
My Opinion:
I don't know why some people make brands of slippers a big deal. I don't understand why we need to be conscious about brands. I find it unnecessary to wear signature items. I'm not saying I'm totally against it. I have signature items myself. The point is that it should never be a big deal and the truth is that whatever you are wearing right now is just the same as what other people is wearing at the moment. Brands may differ as well as the materials it was made of and the place where it was manufactured. But at the end of the day, slippers will be called slippers, t-shirts will be called t-shirts, pants will be called pants, bags will be called bags and shoes will be called shoes.
As what my cousin-in-law Vida stated in her blog: "I could have bought 10 pairs for the same amount, kept 1 for myself and gave the 9 other pairs to barefoot individuals."
There is one thing more; I find it unfair to tag Philippine made products as substandard and unworthy to buy. It is just our wrong notion that everything that was made here is of cheap materials, unskilled labor and poor taste. I certainly disagree. It is just our colonial mentality that obstructs us from buying products that are made by our fellow Filipinos. Instead of putting our own brand down to the ground, we should elevate it high so that the world may see how wonderful our products are. We should be proud that our products were made with hands of tested skills, of minds filled with creative juices and with a heart full of passion and enthusiasm. I would know because my father once worked in sports brand companies. The materials, labor and some ideas are from the Philippines and they export it to other countries and sell it back here for a much higher price!
One thing I have to say, I am proud that I belong to the race of sheer craftsmanship and creativity, I'm proud to be a Filipino! Sometimes it's good to have BRANDED stuffs for quality but it WOULDN'T make you less of a person kung bibili ka ng cheap and Filipino brands.
Anyway, I won't buy a pair because I don't need it and if your feet are clean and looks good that already is a priceless beauty!

My Realizations in LIFE
This is a blog entry from my friend Zin and I get to try it out, fun thing to do when you're bored. Here goes:

are just the right size for my body, truth is I'd rather have big butt! =p

also helps those who cannot physically communicate (not just me financially).

the engine stops because I don't know how to drive.

to focus on the things around me.

connections to some of my good friends.

someone copies everything from me.

is actually a good friend of mine. =)

is something I need when I go shopping spree! LOL!

have different views, you just have to choose the best one.

happy with my husband.

is so far away and I miss her sooo much!

is always with me wherever I go.

Fresh Blog
Yay, finally I have the guts to blog about anything and everything that comes into my brain. I'm not really a frequent blogger and I never write anything like this before, well except a little blog entries in my Multiply site. I really like to try writing because WHY NOT?! I can do everything I want, I can write, I can dance, I can be a photographer, I can be a good mother someday, basically everything if time and my energy permits, lol!
Well not bad for a start, maybe my next blog will be a little bit better and longer and have more sense. But now I'm going to talk about my first blog entry and that's it. Maybe I'm gonna read more books, newspapers and some other blog entries so I can write something that everybody can relate to.
